Introduction
Driving & Driver Instructor Training
Chris Kelly Driving Instructor Training Academy: Centre of Excellence
To become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) you will need to pass three tests set by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). Because there are three parts to becoming an ADI, it will understandably take a few months to fully qualify as an Approved Driving Instructor.
Requirements to become an ADI
- You must hold a full driving licence for at least three and half years and have no more then 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
- You will have to provide two references and be able to read a number plate at 90 feet (with glasses if normally worn).
- These details are required on the ADI 14 Pack.
- You will also need to disclose any caution or convictions current or spent for motoring offences and non-motoring offences.
Driving Instructor Training
- Chris Kelly's Driving Instructor Training is tailored according to the individual's personal circumstances.
- The Instructor Training we offer is designed to accelerate you through each test in the shortest possible time.
- Our Driving Instructor Training is available throughout Chester, Merseyside and the Wirral.
- Most people who train to become driving instructors hold down a job at the same time. We recognise this, which is why our Driver Instructor Training is specifically designed to fit around your current job or other commitments on a part-time basis. So, whether you train full or part-time is up to you; either way it is a proven, successful formula.
- You will be hard pushed to find better quality Driving Instructor Training on offer!
- What's more, your Instructor Training will be local within the North West! This will ensure that you get the best possible ADI training and, once working as an ADI, local knowledge is essential.
Qualifying as an ADI
To qualify as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) you need to pass three tests:
- You are allowed as many attempts as needed to pass the Part 1.
- Part 2 you are restricted to three attempts only, so quality training is a necessity and dedication to studying and practice is a must.
- Part 3 you are restricted to three attempts only, so quality training is a necessity and dedication to studying and practice is a must.
