Chris Kelly Driving School was established in 1989. We are the largest regional driving school in the UK and is an independent school based in Wallasey and covers the whole of Wirral, Chester, Liverpool and Southport.
Instructors pick up from your home or place of work or college and uni. We pick up from all areas across Southport.
We have manual and auto instructors, and various dual controlled cars, male and female instructors across all areas in Southport. We teach across all areas of Southport, you can choose automatic or manual and you can switch later and the hours still count.
If you need to pass quickly, our crash and intensive courses condense all your lessons into a very short period of time. Once your assessment is done we will know approximately how many lessons are required. Everyone is different, so some may require 10 lessons and some may require a complete 40 lesson course for beginners.
If a crash course is not your thing our weekly lesson plan may suit you more. We still give you a targeted test date but teach you on a weekly basis. If you already have lessons with another school we take them into consideration.
Most learners around Southport use the Southport driving test centre at Eastbank House, Eastbank Street, Southport PR8 1HE. We normally take the test in the areas that are most local for you. Your instructor will teach you in the area where your test is booked and most local for you.
All you need to do to get started is to book your assessment. Our instructors will quote you on where you are up to your standard.
A double lesson for manual is £80. A double lesson for auto is £86. Courses start from 10 lessons costing £380 for manual, £410 for auto. Full prices are on our

We normally take the test in the areas that are most local for you. We operate tests all across Merseyside, Southport, Widnes, Speke, Norris Green and more. Your instructor will teach you in the area where your test is booked and most local for you.
All areas across Southport including town centre and surrounding areas. We also cover Liverpool, Chester, Widnes and areas of North Wales. Our instructors pick up from home, work or college and know the roads you will be tested on from Southport test centre at Eastbank Street.
